	THE COSMOLOGY OF CONSTRAINT The body cast, even as I wore it, seemed to be a metaphor for the constraints we place on ourselves as well as the freedoms we chose. Many years later, it retains its potency. It is weighted by past experience even as it opens up and begins to fly. Size @ variable; $3000
	THE EASTER BOX A nostalgic look as Easter in the 1950's, written on psalm format in the interior of a hat box and the interior of the hats. The memories are of a young child, full of sensate wonder. The gloves, on the other hand, are little vignettes, little "wonderings" of an adult about people and their hats. Open the Easter box, smell the sachets, and travel back to an earlier time. 	FROM THE SOUL Contemplating the sacred heart imagery of the Catholic church and of Mexican liturgical folk art, I considered what faith might require. Concertina french door binding. Pastel, Davey Board, imitation gold leaf, wax, lights, velvet imprinted with text. Size 34"h. $3000
	THE GIFT Viewing the story of the Annunciation, the announcement to Mary that she would bear Jesus, through the contemporary eyes of a parent. Pastel, Davey Board, imitation gold leaf velvet imprinted with text. Size 30"h. $3000
	La Griteria An altar full of grief. Inspired by the altars built in Nicaragua for the Christmas season festival of La Purisima, a celebration in praise of the Virgin Mary, a celebration full of rejoicing, parades, songs, fireworks. The very same Virgin Mary is considered the leader of the Nicaraguan army, credited with various military victories. But I hear the sorrowful mothers who have lost their sons to the hands of the Romans, to the hands of the US supported Contras, to the hands of many battlers in between. Unique sculpture w/ lights and sound. Size @ 48"w $3000
	RESURRECTION Completed in winter 2000, this is a poem about a death, placed in a New Orleans mausoleum that has been weathered by time. The door is permanently open, the interior is lit. While the event described is sad, the effect of the piece is hopeful. original text and photos by the artist. Davey board, paint, inkjet, thermo plastic, lights, mixed media. Size 15"h. $650
	THE PARABLE OF FLIGHT As a child, I always wished I could fly like a bird. As a result, wings have strong metaphorical content for me, symbolizing power and freedom. The story appears on fallen feathers that are available for free. $3000
